Welcome to Enthought Training on Demand (ETOD)

Enthought Training on Demand is a learning experience you won't find anywhere else, and builds upon Enthought's decades of training and software development experience in Python. This page answers some frequently asked question related to using Enthought Training on Demand.

Where do I find it and gain access?

You can find Enthought Training on Demand (ETOD) at https://training.enthought.com. A selection of lectures are available to visitors and to registered users. The full courses are available for purchase individually or as a full set at https://store.enthought.com.

Note that you must be logged in to the training site to access the training material to which you have subscribed. The login button is in the upper right corner of the web page. It may help if you log out and then log back in, for example if you subscribed to Canopy or ETOD after first logging in.

What browsers are supported?

ETOD supports current versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari (6 and 7), and Internet Explorer (IE 10 and 11, not in backward "Compatibility Mode"). We will be adding additional support over time based on customer demand. Suggestions for additional browser support can be sent via the "Send feedback / Report issue" menu item in the upper right corner of the screen.

ETOD uses Javascript extensively, so you must have Javascript enabled in your browser.

Some ad-blocking browser add-ons / extensions inadvertently block ETOD. If ETOD is not loading, try disabling and/or configuring your ad blocker.

If you are having trouble logging in to training from Safari, please let us know as described below.

Why can't I access the material?

This is a new product with many new users. If you are experiencing login or viewing problems, please try again in one hour. If the problem repeats, see the next section.

How can I get help?

Enthought provides several options for assistance with using ETOD. This page plus the Enthought Knowledge Base provide searchable access to known problems and workarounds 24/7. Subscribers can reach our support staff by submitting questions and feedback and reporting problems through in the in-application menu item "Send feedback / Report issue" in the upper-right corner of the screen or by sending email to training.support@enthought.com.
